Boo!

So Mommy and Daddy are all excited about this holiday called Halloween. Supposedly people dress up in strange outfits and go door to door asking for candy. Sounds like a completely silly holiday to me, but I told them I would play along this time.

I decided to dress up as Gooseyard for Halloween. So here I am in my nifty costume that Mommy made for me. It even came with a blue mousy and a tail. I didn't care much for the candy, but the people-watching was excellent. Trick-or-Treat!

Pumpkin Patch

Daddy and Mommy took me to the pumpkin patch today to get a pumpkin for Halloween (whatever that is). Once I found my pumpkin, I was determined to protect it from any prying hands even if it meant screaming (which I did have to resort to when Mommy tried to take it from my while she buckled me back in the car). I highly recommend the pumpkin patch. Not only did they have fantastic pumpkins, but there were also goats, donkeys, puppies, and a big fat turkey that fluffed his feathers and gobble-gobbled a lot.

Here are some photos from our trip:

Here I am with Daddy petting one of the goats and holding my pumpkin.

What's with the cut-out things that you put your head through?

Here I am with Pooh and my pumpkin at home. This is MY pumpkin.

In other news, I've made great progress with Gooseyard and Callie. I have discovered that if you give the kitties your meat from dinner they will let you get close to them. I got so excited when I figured this out that I shouted, "Kitty!" and scared the kitties away. Gooseyard came back though and licked my hand to see if there were any leftovers. I guess the way to a cat's heart is through his stomach.

Well I'd better go. I'm supposed to be going night-night right now.

My future's so bright I gotta wear shades...

Check out my new pink shades. I think they're pretty awesome. Mommy and Daddy took me to see the eye doctor today for a check-up and after the doctor used all sorts of neat tools to look at my eyes, she gave me some shades to wear home. The whole thing tired me out. It's so hard to be so cute. I took a nap in my car seat on the way home.

Well, I've been super busy lately. We went on vacation to see our friends Meredith, Jocelyn and their parents in Texas. I'm not much for road trips --- especially when I can't see so well out the windows. So I made Mommy and Daddy entertain me with singing, books, an assortment of shakey-shakies, and when that didn't work, blankeosaurus made an appearance. Mommy and Daddy think they can actually fool me into believing it's a real dinosaur or something, but I know it's just their hand under a blanket with Daddy making the voice sound like Elvis.

Once we were in Austin though, I had a great time. I played with my friend Meredith. We also went to a neat toy store where I got some new books and a cool orange shakey-shakey with bells. I made friends with the people at the next table when we went to County Line BBQ. All in all, I would say Austin was very fun. The driving part though, notsomuch.

Well that's all for now. I've got cats to chase.

(BTW, did you know their food is gross? I found a piece on the floor and put it in my mouth and Mommy freaked out. I was spitting it out when she came running up to me and tried to dig the rest out of my mouth. Geez. I knew it was gross! That's why I was spitting it out. Gooseyard and Callie really need a personal chef.)
